Theory of Change
Theory of change (TOC) is a purpose-driven organization focused on building community through monthly music events. For their branding, they wanted something “vaporwave, but not Roku City.”
The Logo
Theory of Change’s founders wanted a logo with the full organization name, as well as a reduced option with their initialism (TOC) for narrower uses (digital channels).
Animated Logo
I animated the two logo iterations with a stylized CRTV look and feel.
Posters
I designed two posters for Theory of Change’s launch party. Poster one announced the event and teased the DJ lineup drop on January 5th. Poster two included the DJ lineup and suggested donation amount.
Both posters were designed digital-first. Instagram is TOC’s primary channel of communication. I also designed print versions with additional information guiding people to TOC’s web presence.
Social Media
In additon to the posters, TOC’s launch party was teed up with an Instagram carousel featuring more detailed information about the organization and event.
The carousel images are unified by a continuous background image. The images repeat critical information so that they can be shared on Instagram individually as story posts.
